Exit Slip, Week 2, Lab
There was a lot of information presented during lab today, but one of the things I found most interesting was the classroom wiki account. I have just recently created my own wiki in my Education 302 class, but I never thought a wiki could be used in this way. I thought using a wiki was really interesting and a very good idea to keep track of what happened during class. It not only is helpful to students to remind them of what was discussed, but it is VERY helpful to parents, guardians, etc. I have personally experienced asking a child what they did in school that day and they usually said "Nothing" or "I don't remember." In my hometown I work as a nanny and every single day I asked the child what he did in class. Not ONCE did I get a response. It would have been really nice to be able to actually see what he did during the day and to be able to question him about it before his parents got home. It would also be a great way to post homework! Last but not least, I am extremely excited to add websites to my delicious account! :)
