If these new curriculum designs were put into effect, I would not be happy. I see very few of these changes to be effective because I don't believe that students should have to make such a large decision at such a young age. I think students need the broad education they are receiving, especially in the first few years of school, to truly experiment and decide what they want to do in the future. I do agree that having education be more student centered would be a good thing and would motivate students to learn, but I don't think it should be focused so incredibly early. Students gain basic skills within the first few years of their education that are necessary for almost all careers or subjects that people go in to.
